Biography

Bobby Duffy is Professor of Public Policy and Director of the Policy Institute at King's College London, where he leads a team of public policy specialists connecting research with policy. Prior to joining King's in 2018, he was Managing Director of Public Affairs for Ipsos MORI and Global Director of the Ipsos Social Research Institute, working across around 30 countries. He has been seconded to the UK Prime Minister's Strategy Unit and was a fellow at the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion at LSE. He is known for research on how public perceptions of the NHS diverge from reality, including a Health Foundation-supported study on misperceptions that risk undermining views of the health service's sustainability. He is a trustee of British Future and a Senior Fellow of the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto.
