Biography

Chloe Oliver is the Chief Executive Officer of The MASIC Foundation, the only multi-disciplinary UK charity dedicated to supporting women who have suffered Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injuries (OASI) during childbirth. She joined the charity in 2022 and holds responsibility for strategic leadership, operational management, fundraising and governance, with an overarching aim of strengthening MASIC's position as the leading authority on serious birth injuries. Oliver has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years, with previous fundraising roles at Help the Aged, The Stroke Association, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and COSMIC (the charity supporting intensive care at Imperial College Healthcare Trust). She served on the Special Advisory Group for the 2024 Parliamentary APPG Birth Trauma Inquiry, contributing expert evidence that informed calls for a National Maternity Improvement Strategy. Oliver is a visible advocate for ensuring women's voices are heard in health policy, particularly on the long-term physical and psychological consequences of birth injury.
