David Radley

Who David Radley is

David C. Radley, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a senior scientist for the Commonwealth Fund's Tracking Health System Performance initiative and concurrently Director of Data and Analytics at the Center for Evidence-Based Policy at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). He is a health services researcher specialising in small-area analysis and in the design, implementation, and interpretation of observational studies using large administrative and survey datasets. He has authored over 50 articles, issue briefs, and technical reports on access to care, healthcare affordability, quality, health equity, and population health outcomes. Prior to joining OHSU, he held positions at Westat, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and Abt Associates. He received his Ph.D. in health policy from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and an M.P.H. from Yale University. His work on the Commonwealth Fund's international health system comparisons — including rankings that regularly place the UK among the top-performing countries — is widely cited in UK health policy debate.
