Who Eduardo Pisani is
Eduardo Pisani is the Chief Executive Officer of All.Can International, an independent not-for-profit organisation (ASBL) registered in Belgium and headquartered in Brussels, which works to improve the efficiency and quality of cancer care by focusing on what matters to patients. He was appointed CEO when All.Can International began the process of becoming an independent non-profit organisation in 2020. Before joining All.Can, Pisani served as Director General of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) from January 2010 until January 2017, and prior to that held senior international policy and government affairs roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Baxter Healthcare, SmithKline Beecham, and Immuno AG. He holds a law degree from the University of Catania, Italy. Pisani has co-authored peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of Cancer Policy and contributed to Lancet Oncology papers on UK cancer care investment, and is known for arguing that inefficiency in cancer care must be systematically measured and remedied to protect health-system sustainability and patient access.
“International evidence shows that strong cancer plans, supported by legal rights, ensure patients have guaranteed access to timely, high-quality care. This protection promotes early treatment, reduces inequalities and ultimately improves health outcomes.”
