Who Jon Restell is

Jon Restell is Chief Executive of Managers in Partnership (MiP), the specialist trade union for managers and senior staff working in health and care services across the UK. He was MiP's first member of staff when the organisation was founded in 2005, and in his current role he is responsible for the union's strategy and performance, acts as lead media spokesperson, negotiates with employers nationally, and works to influence ministers, civil servants and system leaders on behalf of senior health and care managers. Before joining MiP, he worked as a national officer for the Association of Teachers and Lecturers and as a negotiator for the FDA, where his remit covered members in the civil service, the NHS, the Houses of Parliament and museums.
