Biography

Dr Lisa J. Rosenthal, MD, FACLP, DFAPA is Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Chief of the Division of Consultation Psychiatry at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She is also Fellowship Director for Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Her academic focus spans medical care of patients with severe mental illness, delirium, hospital agitation and violence, healthcare worker wellness, and the collaborative care model. She directs a Collaborative Care Programme supporting population-based screening for depression and anxiety across more than 370,000 primary care patients in the Northwestern Medicine health system, and serves as Medical Director and principal investigator of the Northwestern Medicine – West Health Accelerator, a multi-year initiative to deliver integrated psychiatric programmes in primary care settings. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Fellow and Board Member of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
