Biography
Susanna Daniels is the Chief Executive Officer of Melanoma Focus, a national charity dedicated to melanoma education, research, patient support, and advocacy for clinicians and patients. She brings over two decades of experience as a Principal Cancer Services Pharmacist in a leading teaching hospital and subsequently in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, and MSD. She became CEO of Melanoma Focus in 2022, succeeding founding CEO Simon Rodwell. Daniels has publicly called for urgent action on melanoma prevention and has welcomed NHS access to innovative treatments including immunotherapy and cancer vaccine trials. Under her leadership, Melanoma Focus achieved PIF TICK accreditation in July 2023, the UK-wide quality mark for trusted health information, and was awarded a BBC Lifeline appeal in May 2023.
