Who Dr Elizabeth Deveny is
Dr Elizabeth Deveny is the Chief Executive Officer of the Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF), the independent national peak body for health consumers in Australia. She holds a Master of Education and a Doctor of Philosophy on clinical decision-making from the University of Melbourne. Prior to becoming CEO, she served as CEO of the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network for more than six years and as a Special Advisor in the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. She has also served as Chair of the Australian Digital Health Agency Board. She is known for working across media, government, and health to amplify the voice of citizens and assert consumers' right to shape how healthcare systems work for them.
