Who Enver Solomon is

Enver Solomon OBE joined Nacro, a national social justice charity supporting people with complex needs including homelessness, offending and mental health, as Chief Executive in March 2026. He had previously served for five years as CEO of the Refugee Council, the largest provider of services to refugees in England, where he was a prominent media voice on asylum policy, refugee health and the welfare of unaccompanied children. Before that he was CEO of Just for Kids Law and held senior roles at the National Children's Bureau, The Children's Society, Barnardo's, the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies and the Prison Reform Trust. Prior to the voluntary sector he was a BBC journalist for ten years. He was named Charity CEO of the Year by Charity Times in 2023 and awarded an OBE for services to refugee resettlement in the 2026 King's New Year Honours.
