Henry Gregg became Chief Executive of the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) in May 2025, taking up the role on 27 May. The NPA is a trade association representing independent community pharmacies across the UK, headquartered in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Before joining the NPA, Gregg was Director of External Affairs at Asthma + Lung UK and Chair of the Taskforce for Lung Health, where he led the campaign to ban cigarette sales to anyone born after 2009, contributing to the Tobacco and Vapes Bill. His earlier career included roles at the Health Foundation lobbying government to invest in the NHS, senior positions at the London Boroughs of Newham and Barking and Dagenham, member relations at the National Housing Federation, and he began his career in Parliament. At the NPA, he has publicly argued that closing an identified £2.6bn funding gap between the cost of delivering NHS dispensing and what the sector receives is essential to slow pharmacy closures and stabilise the community pharmacy network.
