Who Olga Rudneva is

Olga Rudneva is the co-founder and CEO of Superhumans Center, a specialist clinic in Vynnyky, near Lviv, Ukraine, providing free prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation, and psychological support to military personnel and civilians injured in the Russia-Ukraine war. The centre, which opened in April 2023 after only eight months of renovation, has treated over 1,500 patients and delivered more than 1,300 prosthetic limbs. Before co-founding Superhumans, Rudneva served for nearly 20 years as Executive Director of the Elena Pinchuk Foundation, leading Ukraine's foremost HIV/AIDS philanthropy. Following Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, she coordinated a large humanitarian aid logistics hub in Poland before returning to Ukraine to build the centre. She has publicly argued for reframing disability as a 'superpower' and for normalising disability in Ukrainian society. In December 2024 she was named on the BBC's 100 Women list for her work inspiring others.

“Positive healing effects for patients; reduced phantom pain; positive mood and more socialisation.”
