Biography

Danielle Jefferies is a Senior Analyst in the Policy team at The King's Fund, an independent charity and think tank working to improve health and care in England. She works with data from across the health and social care landscape, collaborating with communications and press teams to present and share data insights. Before joining the Fund, she worked at a management consulting company specialising in healthcare, where she contributed to transformational projects in NHS hospitals and ambulance services involving quantitative analysis and change management. She has a particular interest in health inequalities and urgent and emergency care, and her work includes analysis of public satisfaction with the NHS through the annual British Social Attitudes Survey. She is regularly quoted in press releases responding to monthly NHS performance statistics and has co-authored research on inequalities in NHS elective waiting lists.
