Janet Lindsay is Chief Executive of Wellbeing of Women, a UK health charity dedicated to funding research, education and advocacy across all areas of women's reproductive and gynaecological health, including menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, gynaecological cancers and menopause. She began her career at a global advertising agency before running her own communications agency, and prior to leading Wellbeing of Women she held fundraising and communications roles at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Starlight Children's Foundation. Under her leadership the charity has pursued a series of public campaigns and a strategic review aimed at tackling taboos and improving outcomes in women's health. She is a regular commentator in the national press and before Parliament on themes including the gender health gap, menstrual health, menopause, and the need for sex and gender to be embedded in biomedical research design and policy.
