Biography
Dr Lily Vrtik is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon practising in Brisbane, Australia, with public appointments at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Hospital Brisbane. She has served as President of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) since 2024 and works as a risk-assessor and clinical advisor in medical indemnity. She holds a Master of Health Law from Sydney Law School, University of Sydney, with a focus on bioethics, medical marketing, and health profession regulation. She is known for advocating patient safety in cosmetic surgery, opposing unregulated cosmetic injectables and DIY procedures, and for founding Classroom4Doctors to improve medical education.
