Biography
Mr Marc Pacifico MD FRCS(Plast) is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and the director of Purity Bridge Private Aesthetic Clinic. He is a former President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), having been elected to that role in 2022, and a past consultant plastic surgeon at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College and completed specialist training at Charing Cross Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital, where he also undertook a doctorate on improving outcomes in melanoma. He has published over 50 international peer-reviewed papers, is an International Editor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and sits on the ISAPS Educational Committee. He is regularly quoted in the national press on cosmetic surgery regulation, patient safety, and the risks of cosmetic tourism.

Think of the SMAS as the soft tissue skeleton of the face. And that's what ages us; that's what loosens and sags and drags the skin down with it.”
