AN INDEPENDENT RECORD OF EVERY PROMISE MADE IN THE STATES OF JERSEY
Visit the Guernsey edition →Jersey · Media Reach · 2025
Channel 103 reaches 48,000 people a week — 54% of the island’s adult population — 2.3× BBC Radio Jersey’s audience. That comparison is the one figure on this page two outlets are measured on the same, independent basis; everything else below is a publisher’s own stated figure, not an independent audit.
The only independently measured figures here
Weekly reach, market share and average listening hours, 12 months to March 2025. Both stations are measured the same way over the same period, so this pair is directly comparable in a way nothing else on this page is.
| Station | Weekly reach | % of adults | Share of listening | Avg hours/week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Channel 103 | 48,000 | 54.0% | 24.8% | 8.3 |
| BBC Radio Jersey | 21,000 | 23.0% | 11.0% | 8.5 |
Channel 103’s 24.8% share of all listening in Jersey’s Total Survey Area is more than double BBC Radio Jersey’s 11.0%. The weekly-reach gap between the two — 2.3× — closely parallels the equivalent commercial-vs-BBC pair on Guernsey’s own Media Reach page (Island FM reaches roughly 2.2× BBC Radio Guernsey); their respective SHARE gaps do not parallel each other nearly as closely.

Publisher-stated readership, plus an independent traffic estimate
None of the three below has a current independent circulation or readership audit. Each card carries the publisher's own stated figure where one exists, plus Ahrefs' modelled organic (Google) search traffic as an independent - but much narrower - cross-check: it counts only visits arriving from a search result, not direct, app, social or newsletter traffic, so it understates total readership and should not be read as a rival figure to the stated percentages above it.
Jersey Evening Post
73%of adults read it weekly (self-reported)
62,000+weekly readers, same claim
Stated by the Jersey Evening Post itself, with no survey name, methodology or date attached. The JEP is no longer registered with ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) — checked abc.org.uk directly — so, unlike the Guernsey Press, there is no independently audited circulation figure publicly available for it at any vintage, stale or otherwise.
Estimated organic search traffic, monthly
Jersey Evening Post's estimated organic search traffic peaked at 46,201 visits in Jul 2025 and has since fallen 76% to 10,946 in Aug 2026.

Bailiwick Express (Jersey edition)
42,000free print copies delivered at launch
Delivered to residential addresses since launch in April 2019 — a distribution figure (copies sent), not a measured readership, and now over six years old. No current independent or self-reported digital readership figure (unique users, page views) for the Jersey edition is publicly available; Bailiwick Express’s own advertising pages describe a subscriber database without stating its size.
Estimated organic search traffic, monthly
Bailiwick Express's estimated organic search traffic peaked at 14,487 visits in Apr 2025 and has since fallen 70% to 4,279 in Aug 2026. Jersey and Guernsey editions share one domain with no clean way to split the two, so this is combined traffic, the same caveat as ITV Channel below.

Channel Eye
A free daily Channel Islands & Isle of Man business-news title. Channel Eye states no readership figure of its own anywhere publicly findable — the chart below is the only figure this page has for it at all, so treat it as even more indicative than the estimates alongside it.
Estimated organic search traffic, monthly
Channel Eye's estimated organic search traffic peaked at 3,643 visits in Jul 2025 and has since fallen 77% to 842 in Aug 2026. Covers the Channel Islands and Isle of Man together, not Jersey alone.
Both Bailiwicks combined, not Jersey alone
ITV Channel runs as a single regional franchise across Jersey and Guernsey together and does not publish a Jersey-only audience figure, so the numbers below cover both islands.
160,000potential audience across both Bailiwicks
5hours of original TV produced a week
ITV Channel also states it has “at times” had more than two million website visits in a month — its own wording for a stated peak, not a monthly average, kept here as a direct quote for that reason. Both figures are ITV Channel’s own, the only place a figure could be found at all; no independent viewing audit (BARB does not cover the Channel Islands) is publicly available.
ITV Channel Television, Jersey Skills Show exhibitor page - self-stated audience and reach
Each outlet’s own social channels publish no independent or self-reported audience figures beyond a follower count, which this page treats as too weak a proxy for reach to list as if it were comparable to the figures above.
