Throughout the 2022–2026 Assembly term, Connétable Simon Crowcroft and the Parish of St Helier actively organised and promoted multiple recurring festivals each year, including the St Patrick's Day Festival (relaunched in 2022 and returned annually through at least 2023), the Fête de St Hélier (held every summer, confirmed for 2023, 2024, and 2025), and the Havre des Pas Seaside Festival (taken over and run by the Parish from at least 2023). Crowcroft was quoted directly in January 2024 by both the Jersey Evening Post and Bailiwick Express confirming the Parish organised several major events costing around £40,000 each, and was actively consulting parishioners on how to sustain and improve them. The parish's own 'What's On' calendar and a dedicated Town Centre & Events Manager were maintained throughout the term, with Crowcroft personally quoted championing individual events such as the St Patrick's Festival relaunch in 2022.

Crowcroft held St Helier Parish rates frozen at 1.15p for the first year of the 2022–2026 term (the ninth consecutive freeze, per the Jersey Evening Post, July 2022), but rates were raised three times thereafter: 8.7% in August 2023 (1.15p to 1.25p), 5.6% in July 2024 (1.25p to 1.32p), and 2.3% in July 2025 (1.32p to 1.35p). Each increase was defended as at or below the prevailing rate of RPI inflation, and Crowcroft actively grew non-rates commercial income to limit the pressure on ratepayers — consistent with the spirit of 'as low as possible' — but rates did rise materially across the term.

Crowcroft actively championed the Andium Homes park-extension proposal throughout the 2022–2026 term, tabling a 2022 proposition and a further proposition (P.45/2025) in June 2025 asking Ministers to pause the school scheme. However, the Bridging Island Plan (adopted 2022) safeguarded the Gas Place site for a new primary school, and in April 2022 States Members had already voted overwhelmingly to endorse the school over the park extension. Crowcroft's final attempt via P.45/2025 was defeated 31–10 by the States Assembly on 22 October 2025, with the Council of Ministers formally urging rejection; the park doubling did not proceed during his 2022–2026 term.
