Despite the promise made at the June 2022 election, no retirement homes near the centre of Trinity Parish were delivered or formally approved during the 2022–2026 term. In December 2025, Connétable Le Sueur himself cited capacity constraints in the parish's foul drainage network as the primary obstacle preventing additional retirement-home development, an implicit admission that the commitment remained unfulfilled. Le Sueur retired from the Assembly at the June 2026 election after twelve years as Connétable without the promise having been substantively advanced.
