Victoria Li was first elected to the States Assembly in June 2026 as Deputy for St Helier North. Since 2026 she has served as Chair of the Children, Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel and as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
Li campaigned on improving everyday conditions in St Helier North alongside broader island-wide reforms. Her specific pledges included delivering a School Routes Plan with safe pavements, crossings and firm delivery dates; introducing quarterly reporting on construction traffic at the Overdale hospital site; and pursuing a bus review shaped by passenger input. On education, she committed to a broader primary curriculum spanning science, arts, technology and outdoor learning, faster special educational needs diagnosis with clearer teacher support, and the creation of an independent Education Leadership Board.
