Guernsey's 2025 Attainment 8 score against the England average and three affluent, fully non-selective England local authorities, 2023/24.
Read this with the chart: Guernsey's figure is 2025; the England figures are 2023/24, the latest year local-authority Attainment 8 has been published as a downloadable dataset - a year's gap, not a strictly like-for-like single year. The three England areas were chosen because they are affluent (by ONS GDHI per head, a per-person not per-household measure) AND fully non-selective, like post-reform Guernsey - similarly affluent but selective areas (Buckinghamshire, Kingston upon Thames, Sutton) are deliberately excluded so grammar selection doesn't get tangled up with income as an explanation.
