The Future Guernsey manifesto adopted by Forward Guernsey’s members is no longer available online, so its pledges are sourced individually:

“In the news” coverage

Deputy news links are drawn from a fixed allow-list of Bailiwick outlets: Guernsey Press (guernseypress.com), Bailiwick Express (bailiwickexpress.com), BBC (bbc.co.uk), ITV Channel (itv.com) and Island FM (islandfm.com). AI delivery verdicts additionally cite gov.gg, parliament.gg and States Resolutions, and every verdict names its evidence inline on the deputy’s page.

Committee meeting attendance

Not an official States dataset - the requirement to compile and publish it was rescinded by States’ resolution on 31 March 2022 (P.2022/15). The figures shown are transcribed from two data requests the Guernsey Press made directly to the States this term:

Economy

Derived measures on the Economy tab (net revenue expenditure as a share of GDP, the OECD/UK growth counterfactuals, and the 2016–2020 ownership-rate series) are Bridgehead’s own calculations from the sources above; each chart’s source note on that page states the exact method and its caveats.

Balance the Budget

Every baseline in the budget tool is a published figure from the sources above, and each committee’s service lines reconcile to its own cash limit. Two things on that page are not States figures and are labelled as such wherever they appear: per-unit yields marked “derived” are scaled pro-rata from a published total, and the price elasticities behind the behavioural model are Bridgehead’s assumptions, using ordinary published ranges for each class of goods rather than Guernsey measurements. The page sets out every elasticity it uses, and what it does not model at all.

No single published back-series of Guernsey recorded crime exists; the 2008–2025 series was assembled by Bridgehead from overlapping Annual Reports and States Facts and Figures booklets, with each year cross-checked against at least one other document. The two recording-methodology breaks (2018 and 2021) are marked on the chart.

Information Freedom & Transparency

Covers the current States term only (718requests, 1 July 2025 to 20 August 2026) - not the full disclosure log, which runs back to 2014. Response-time and outcome figures are Bridgehead’s own analysis of each published response letter, not a States-published statistic. Of the 718 outcome classifications, 63 were individually hand-verified against the full letter text; the remaining 655 kept an automated keyword-scan call. Working-day figures are a plain Monday-to-Friday count with no States of Guernsey public-holiday calendar applied, so they slightly overstate true elapsed working days.

Who builds this

The Guernsey Deputy Scorecard is built, paid for and maintained by Bridgehead Communications, a PR, public affairs and reputation consultancy. No member, party, States committee or campaign funds it. Nobody pays to appear on it, and nobody pays to have an entry corrected.

We publish it to showcase the best of Channel Island politics, and to help readers see the vibrancy, and sometimes the sheer grind, behind the contributions made in the chambers of both Guernsey and Jersey.
