Modelled Guernsey Insurance Fund net assets, 2027 to 2045 (£m)
A Bridgehead model of the Guernsey Insurance Fund's net assets at year end, 2027 to 2045, under three contribution decisions. With rates held the fund falls to £298.3m by 2045, about 0.6 years of spending.
Read this with the chart: Bridgehead projection, not a States of Guernsey forecast. The States have not published a revised actuarial projection, and when they do it replaces this one. The opening balance is £750.7m at the end of 2026 (policy letter P.2025/113), and investments return 4.6% a year, the trailing ten-year return to June 2025. Central case: spending grows 3.8% a year and income 3%. The axis starts at zero, where the fund would be empty.
