The share of public Facebook comments about Guernsey politics that an AI model labelled negative and positive, as a 3-month average, from Jan 2022 to Oct 2026. Read this with the chart: Comments on posts by States of Guernsey, Guernsey Press and Island FM, the three pages with full coverage. A sample of the most-commented political posts each month (the first 15 comments, no replies), so heated threads are over-represented. Tone was labelled by AI and spot-checked on 24 comments (22 right); it was not audited. Public pages only: private groups are not covered. Timing between an event and a change in tone does not show that one caused the other. The page marks eleven political events on this line; the embed does not.
