Rota, time and attendance software
Australian rota and time-and-attendance software with a dedicated UK edition, covering shift scheduling, clocking in, leave and payroll export for care homes and domiciliary teams.
The read
RosterElf is shift-scheduling software built for any employer running rotas: rota templates and auto-scheduling under the Perfect Match brand, a tablet time clock with GPS geofencing and photo verification, leave and availability, team messaging, and labour-cost reporting. Approved timesheets export to Xero as a draft pay run.
The UK edition adds the compliance furniture a British employer needs, with pay rates set by National Minimum Wage age band, holiday and bank holiday handling, and rota warnings against the Working Time Regulations limits on the 48-hour average week, 11-hour rest and 20-minute break. Care homes and domiciliary care are among the sectors it addresses, though its published UK customer stories are in decorating and security rather than care.
The Bridgehead view
The cheapest serious rota tool here, and the least embedded in care. RosterElf handles scheduling and clocking in competently for any shift employer, but carries no care records, no CQC angle and no named UK care customers. One for providers whose care functionality already sits elsewhere.
FAQs
No. The CareTech Index is independent editorial coverage — we track and write up companies we judge genuinely significant in the sector, and inclusion is not for sale. Where shown, coverage of RosterElf above is drawn from public reporting, not sponsored content.
We map the sector by who is actually shaping it: funding, product reach, regulatory engagement and the coverage they earn. The CareTech Index is maintained by our editorial team and updated as the market moves, not compiled from vendor submissions.
