Guernsey school Attainment 8, last selective cohort vs first non-selective
Attainment 8 for every mainstream States secondary in Guernsey in 2024, the first fully non-selective cohort, against 2023, the last selectively-admitted one. The former Grammar School fell 27.8 points; every other school rose.
Read this with the chart: Redistribution, not improvement: these are the same island-wide children sorted differently. Les Varendes was The Grammar School until September 2023, so its fall reflects a changed intake rather than changed teaching. Les Voies, a special school, is excluded.
