Guernsey peak electricity demand vs the 2050 projection
Recorded winter peak demand has been broadly flat since 2022, against an investment-case projection of 157 MW by 2050 (125 MW with demand management).
Read this with the chart: Recorded peaks are discrete readings, not an annual series, so the axis is drawn on real years with gaps. The dashed lines are the investment case projection, not measured data; GEL itself says demand management could hold the 2050 peak to 125 MW.
