Peter Hill is Chief Executive Officer of Caring Homes, the care home group owned by Myriad Group, and a Policy Board Member of Care England.

BIOGRAPHY

Peter Hill is Chief Executive Officer of Caring Homes, the care home group founded in 1994 by Helena and Paul Jeffery. The group runs 21 homes across England and Scotland. In July 2026 announcements he was described as chief executive of its parent, Myriad Group, which bought Parklands Care Homes, a provider of 13 settings across the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire.

Hill is a chartered accountant. He studied electrical engineering at Imperial College London (BEng, 1987 to 1990) and started as an audit senior at Ernst & Young in 1990. He moved to Kingfisher as a group accountant in 1994, then held finance director roles at Tom Cobleigh (part of Rank Group), Greenalls Pubs and Restaurants, HMV Europe and FOPP. He was chief financial officer of the online retailer Buy.com from 2000 to 2001 and of Paramount Restaurants from 2008 to 2010.

He joined Caring Homes in 2010 as group chief financial officer and became a director of Caring Homes Group Limited in December 2010. He worked with Paul Jeffery and the board on strategy until he took over as chief executive at the start of 2022. Since May 2023 he has been a Policy Board Member of Care England, the provider trade body.

The Parklands deal completed in July 2026. Parklands continues to run as a standalone business with Susie Mackenzie as managing director, after its founders Ron and Elaine Taylor stepped down. Hill called the purchase an exciting milestone in Myriad Group's growth and development strategy.
