Kan Rajakanthan is chief executive of Regal Care Trading Limited, a family-run group of 15 care homes in Kent, Essex, East Sussex, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. He also leads its sister company, Nicholas James Care Homes, which runs 11 homes in Kent and Sussex. Regal describes him as the founder of both groups.
Companies House lists him as a director of Regal Care Homes Ltd from February 1999 to December 2001, of Nicholas James Care Homes Ltd from December 2001, and of Regal Care Trading Ltd from April 2015. Regal Care joined Nicholas James under shared family leadership in 2015. Dr Charles Rajakanthan is the group's chief operating officer. Kan signs the group's modern slavery statement as chief executive.
