Dr Naz Nathani co-founded MACC Group in 2004 and is its chief executive. MACC develops and runs care homes across the West Midlands and central England.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Naz Nathani is co-founder and chief executive of MACC Group, which trades as MACC Care and develops and runs care homes for older people in the West Midlands and central England. Companies House lists the name as Nazim Haiderali Nathani. MACC's website lists 16 homes with four more coming soon.

Property Wire reported in 2021 that MACC was founded by two doctors, Naz Nathani and Sanjay Aggarwal (spelt Agarwal at Companies House). Both were appointed directors of MACC Care Limited on 5 April 2004. Agarwal resigned in April 2023; Nathani remains a director and the company secretary. Trade press called Nathani a director as late as November 2024 and quotes Nathani as founder and chief executive from May 2025.

MACC builds as well as operates. It bought Tudor Grange in Solihull in 2018, a Grade II* house that had been at risk of demolition, and turned it into a 64-bed care home. The Victorian Society's West Midlands group gave the project its 2023 Conservation Award in February 2024. In May 2025 Broadwood Capital provided a £14m development loan for an 80-bed home in Staffordshire. In November 2025 OakNorth and Ortus Secured Finance jointly refinanced the group.

The Financial Times and Statista placed MACC 158th in their 2025 ranking of Europe's Long-Term Growth Champions, 27th among 48 UK companies. Nathani gave the group's response when the list appeared in November 2024.
