Noel Williams is Managing Director of Blue Ribbon Community Care and Calon Lan Community Care, and founder of The Care Handbook, a digital staff platform.
BIOGRAPHY
Noel Williams is Managing Director of Blue Ribbon Community Care, a home care provider with branches in South West London and Tyne and Wear. His stated responsibilities are quality assurance, continuous improvement and strategy. He is also Managing Director of Calon Lan Community Care, the Welsh domiciliary care business he set up in 2005, and founder of The Care Handbook, a digital staff-handbook and e-learning platform.
He has worked in social care since 1996, starting as a care assistant with Conwy social services. LinkedIn lists later roles as residential social worker at Scope in Kingston upon Thames (2001 to 2003), registered manager of Deer Lodge care home in Teddington (2003 to 2005) and registered manager at Caremark in Kingston upon Thames (2006 to 2008). After a year as an independent consultant in London he formed Blue Ribbon, where Companies House records him as a director from 5 January 2009.
Calon Lan has twice won the Investors in People Gold Award and has won four Wales Care Awards, one of which recognised Noel for leadership and management. Blue Ribbon says it has been named in the homecare.co.uk Top 20 home care providers for eleven consecutive years to 2025. Noel holds a QCF Level 5 diploma in leadership in health and social care, a postgraduate certificate in professional education and a postgraduate diploma in professional studies, and is studying for an MSc in health and social care at the University of Chester.
