Sandip Ruparelia is managing director of Angel Care PLC and MNS Care PLC, which opened the vegetarian-only Sai Ram Villa care home in Harrow in 2016.

BIOGRAPHY

Sandip Ruparelia is managing director of Angel Care PLC and MNS Care PLC, which trade together as Angel Care / MNS Care and run care homes in London and elsewhere in England. The group's own website names Ruparelia as managing director alongside Ravi Ruparelia, a director, and an operations director, and describes the company as keeping the family ethos it started with when it opened its first care home.

Companies House records Ruparelia as a director of Angel Care PLC since January 1996 and of MNS Care PLC since March 1997, and as company secretary of MNS Care PLC since January 2007. Ruparelia is also a director of Sai Ram Care Limited (since December 2005) and Angel Care (Orchid Care Homes) Ltd (since November 2012). The group has not published the date Ruparelia became managing director.

In 2016 the group opened Sai Ram Villa in Harrow, a 46-bed nursing home that serves only vegetarian food and mainly cares for the local Asian community. Gareth Thomas, the MP for Harrow, officially opened it in September 2016. Ruparelia has said that a Harrow home serving only vegetarian food was a long-held aim, and that it was open to everyone.
