Steven Davis
Chief Executive Officer, The St Mary's Group
Steven Davis is Chief Executive Officer of St Mary's Care Homes and Marton Care Homes, part of North Bay Group, and CEO of Bridge Oak Care Homes.
BIOGRAPHY
Steven Davis is Chief Executive Officer of St Mary's Care Homes and Marton Care Homes, two care home groups run from Lancaster House in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Both sit within North Bay Group, whose Executive Chairman is Richard Hoggart. Kirsty Crozier is Managing Director of St Mary's and Marton. Davis is also named as CEO of Bridge Oak Care Homes, a newer North Bay brand, where Kate Desmond is Managing Director. The Bridge Oak team page says he leads the group's strategic direction and operational performance.
Companies House records show him appointed a director of St Marys (ASC) Limited, St Marys Care Services Ltd, Marton Care Homes Ltd, Marton Care Limited, North Bay Care Services Ltd and North Bay Services Ltd on 16 February 2026. The groups' own pages name him as Chief Executive Officer ten days later, when he presented the 2026 awards evening for St Mary's and Marton staff at Ramside Hall in Durham alongside Hoggart and Crozier.
His public statements since then have mostly concerned new capacity. In March 2026 he toured the new 86-bedroom Adel Square care home in Leeds with the local MP, Katie White. In July and September 2026 he spoke about the refurbishment of St Mary's Chanterlands Lodge in Hull, which the group said would create around 55 jobs and open in early winter 2026. He also commented on Bowburn Manor in County Durham, a 73-bed home the group expects to open in the same period with around 85 jobs. On LinkedIn, Bridge Oak Care Homes showed him visiting five newly joined homes with North Bay's Head of People: Ascot Lodge, Greenacres, Swallownest, The Denby at Denby Dale and The Oakes Care Centre.
No announcement of his appointment, and no account of his career before February 2026, has been found in trade press or on the groups' websites. The Bridge Oak page describes him only as having extensive experience in health and social care.
