Flo Health

Cycle, fertility & pregnancy tracking app

Women's & family health

Flo is an AI-powered cycle, fertility and pregnancy tracking app used by millions of women worldwide to log symptoms and predict ovulation and periods.

The read

Flo Health, founded in 2015 by brothers Dmitry and Yuri Gurski, has grown into the world's most-downloaded women's health app, combining cycle and symptom tracking with AI-driven predictions and an anonymous community feature. In 2024 it raised over $200m from General Atlantic, becoming the first purely digital women's health app to reach unicorn status at a valuation above $1bn.

By 2025 the company reported $275m in annual subscription revenue, and now reports roughly 77 million monthly active users globally.

The Bridgehead view

Flo has effectively won the consumer distribution war in femtech through sheer scale, which increasingly makes it a data and advertising platform as much as a health app, raising the regulatory and privacy scrutiny that comes with holding that much sensitive reproductive data.
