At-home hormone & fertility diagnostic testing

Women's & family healthWearables & consumer diagnostics

Hertility Health sells direct-to-consumer at-home hormone and fertility blood tests paired with clinician-reviewed reports on reproductive health.

The read

Hertility Health, founded by reproductive scientist Dr Helen O'Neill, sells at-home hormone-testing kits that screen for fertility decline, PCOS, endometriosis and menopause onset, paired with clinician-reviewed reports. Its 2026 Reproductive Report, drawn from over 600,000 assessments, claimed the service cuts typical diagnosis timelines for some conditions from years to days.

The company has raised roughly $14m to date, including a widely publicised community funding round and a disclosed backing from actress Emma Watson.

The Bridgehead view

Hertility sits closer to a regulated diagnostics business than a lifestyle app — its CQC registration is the point of difference and the point of friction, since it must justify direct-to-consumer testing against a backdrop of NHS gatekeeping it's explicitly trying to bypass.
