BIOGRAPHY
Adrian Mullins is Founder and Managing Director of CuraCare, a family-run home care provider in south west London. CuraCare runs two managed offices, in Twickenham and East Sheen, and offers hourly visits and live-in care across Richmond, Twickenham, East Sheen and nearby areas. Companies House shows Mullins as a director of Cura Care Limited from its incorporation on 2 June 2011 and of Cura Care Group Limited from 2 April 2019. Ciara Mullins is also a director.
Mullins' own account, on the CuraCare site, is that he set the business up after seeing poor care for older people in a care setting and after trying to find care at home for a grandparent. Before that, Mullins worked at Compass Group, as corporate development manager from October 2000 and then finance manager until November 2004, and as an independent consultant from December 2004 to August 2011, according to LinkedIn. Mullins holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management (1999 to 2000) and a BA in Economics from Lancaster University (1993 to 1996).
Mullins was a trustee of Carers Support Merton from March 2011 to June 2013. LinkedIn lists him as a Decision Making Panel Member at the Bank of England since July 2022, and as a director member of the Care Leaders Network since January 2024. CuraCare was named in the homecare.co.uk Top 20 Home Care Groups in 2020, and in a November 2019 LinkedIn post Mullins said it had won the London Home Care Employer award at the Great British Care Awards. In October 2021 Mullins posted that the government's new £162.5m recruitment and retention fund worked out at £102 per social care employee.
