BIOGRAPHY

Lucy Campbell is Chief Executive Officer of Right at Home UK, the UK franchisor of the Right at Home home care brand. The company, registered as Senior Care at Home Ltd and based in Liverpool, runs a network of more than 80 locally owned franchise offices. She took over as chief executive in January 2022 from the founder and owner, Ken Deary, who stayed on as chair. She also sits on the board of the Homecare Association as a Band 3 representative (members with 21 or more branches), and served as its Vice Chair from October 2022 to October 2025 according to her LinkedIn profile.

Campbell studied Business and Information Management at university, according to a case study on the Right at Home website. Her first job after graduating was on a community regeneration project in the Toxteth area of Liverpool. Her LinkedIn profile lists the enterprise and regeneration consultancy she founded and ran from 2005 to 2010 (EOL), a role as commercial manager at The CREATE Foundation (2010 to 2012), and three years as chief executive of FranchisingWorks (2012 to 2015). The Right at Home site describes FranchisingWorks as a social enterprise that used franchising to create businesses and jobs for people facing unemployment or redundancy.

She joined Right at Home UK in September 2015 as senior business performance manager. Companies House records her as a director of Senior Care at Home Ltd from 16 December 2015. She became director of operations in early 2016 and chief operating officer in October 2019. When she was promoted to chief executive, she set a five-year goal of 100 UK offices with a combined turnover above £100 million.

Campbell has argued in public that home care is overlooked in social care policy. In written evidence to the Adult Social Care Committee at the UK Parliament, published in November 2022, she wrote that very little attention is given to the homecare sector. In August 2026 she gave the British Franchise Association her view of the new government's early focus on social care. She won Executive of the Year at the Leaders in Care Awards in 2022 and Home Care Business Woman of the Year at the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards in November 2023. Right at Home lists her as the winner of the EWiF Franchisor of the Year award in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
