Steve Wilson is managing director and co-founder of Trust Care, a Doncaster care home group he started in 2007 with Andrew Savage. It now runs nine homes.

BIOGRAPHY

Steve Wilson is managing director and co-founder of Trust Care, a Doncaster care home group with nine homes in Doncaster, Barnsley, Wakefield and North Lincolnshire. The group owns the freehold of every home and cares for about 390 residents.

Wilson started Trust Care in 2007 with Andrew Savage, a registered nurse. Companies House lists a Steven Wilson as director and company secretary of Trust Care Ltd from 5 September 2007. The group began with a single home, Town Moor House in Doncaster. Partners&, which presented the group with a Yorkshire Growth Index Fastest 50 award in November 2025, says Wilson now leads as managing director while Savage shapes strategy and culture.

In 2026 Trust Care was named one of the Top 20 mid-size care home groups in the UK in the carehome.co.uk awards, which rely on resident and family reviews, and Town Moor House was named a top 20 home in Yorkshire and the Humber. Wilson also commented when Holly Tree Lodge in Barnsley won an award for its work with veterans in July 2026.
