John Gollop stood on a broad platform spanning social welfare, economic recovery, environmental protection, and constitutional reform. His campaign emphasised improving public services, reducing the cost of living, and strengthening Guernsey's international standing.

Among his most significant pledges, Gollop committed to pursuing low or free frequent bus services, including a new night route serving the Beau Sejour and Capelle's areas and a circular P2 service linking the Bridge with the hospitals. He pledged to prioritise ratifying global anti-discrimination treaties to which Guernsey has already committed, and to push for a relaxation of population controls to allow more skilled younger professionals into the island. On care, he pledged to negotiate more States-rate care beds, develop additional extra-care facilities modelled on existing Guernsey examples, and support an equity release scheme to help residents fund care costs and home adaptations. He also committed to supporting a move toward a Cabinet-style ministerial government structure, arguing this would deliver clearer accountability, and to establishing National Parks covering the south coast cliffs, Pleinmont, and the island's wetlands. Additionally, he sought to introduce an arts and culture funding scheme modelled on Jersey's one-percent grant arrangement.
