Dariusz Motyka is co-founder and managing director of Blue Angel Care, a home care provider across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.

BIOGRAPHY

Dariusz Motyka is co-founder and managing director of Blue Angel Care, a home care provider operating across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. He runs the business with co-founder Zul Mamon, who is a director and the nominated individual. In July 2026 the Basingstoke Gazette reported that the group supported more than 300 clients and employed over 200 caregivers across five CQC-registered locations.

Motyka started in care in 2004 as a care giver with AG Care, a south-east London home care company, and was promoted to business development and area manager. According to his LinkedIn profile he co-founded Advanced Care and Support Limited in 2009 and worked as its director and registered manager until 2013. He then spent a year as operations manager at Eleanor Nursing and Social Care in London. From January 2015 he was head of operations at St. Michael's Home Care in Basingstoke, a start-up home care business set up for the local hospice, which his profile says reached £1.5 million in annual turnover.

Blue Angel Care came out of his work with Mamon at London home care agencies. The group's own history dates the company to 2015. The Berkshire branch opened in 2017 and received a Good rating from the CQC in 2018. A Hampshire branch followed in February 2019, and East Hampshire and Surrey branches in March 2020. Companies House lists Motyka as a director of Blue Angel Care Limited from April 2017 to June 2018, and again from April 2019.

At the 2023 Hampshire Business Awards, Motyka and Mamon won Entrepreneur of the Year and Blue Angel Care won Growth Company of the Year. The group has appeared in homecare.co.uk's Top 20 list for medium and large home care groups for five consecutive years, and won the Innovative Technology Expertise award at the Home Care Awards 2026, which both co-founders collected.

Motyka was a trustee of The Gold Standards Framework from July 2024, a role his LinkedIn profile dates to March 2026. He studied business administration at the University of Bielsko-Biala in Poland, and on 24 September 2026 he posted that he had passed his Level 7 Senior Leader End-Point Assessment with a Distinction. His personal website carries his writing on running a home care business, including a May 2026 piece on CQC inspection.
