Laura Perry is CEO of Berkley Care Group, a luxury, all-inclusive care home operator with 12 homes in England. She was Berkley's COO from 2021.

BIOGRAPHY

Laura Perry is chief executive officer of Berkley Care Group, a luxury, all-inclusive care home operator with 12 homes in England and a central support office in Worcester. She has led the group since September 2023.

Perry has worked in care throughout her career. She began as a village manager at Richmond Villages, part of Bupa, in January 2014, became operations manager in 2015 and operations director at Richmond Care Villages in 2017. She joined Berkley as chief operating officer in June 2021. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of the West of England.

She became CEO while Berkley was owned by the European group Clariane. Elevation Healthcare Properties bought the group's 11 care home properties from Clariane in a sale and leaseback announced in March 2024, and Berkley's management team bought the operating companies at the same time. Perry has described the result as a fully independent operator. She told Care Home Professional in March 2025 that Berkley had grown from six to 12 homes and aimed to reach 24 or 25.

Under her leadership Berkley has built a neurodiversity strategy that changed its recruitment process, launched a six-month Berkley Nurse Programme for care home nurses, and in September 2025 introduced a Dementia Strategy at a House of Lords reception. Care Home Professional named her to its Executive Power List 2025. In September 2026 she ran the Great North Run for Alzheimer's Society and reported raising more than £2,000.
