Prieska Chimhini

Her education began in Zimbabwe, with a diploma at United College of Education (1993 to 1995) and a Bachelor of Education in educational administration, planning and policy studies at Zimbabwe Open University (2000 to 2003). In the UK she completed a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2011, an MBA at the Open University Business School (2013 to 2014) and a PGCE (Adult) at the University of East London (2014 to 2015). Her LinkedIn profile lists teaching work in the same years as her Brisca directorship: trainee teacher and then cover supervisor at Havering College of Further and Higher Education in 2014 and 2015, and supply teacher in business studies and economics for Protocol Education from April 2016 to February 2017.

Chimhini describes herself as an entrepreneur, healthcare business coach and author. She is chief executive of PBC Consulting, whose website offers her as a conference speaker, and her LinkedIn profile says she coaches and mentors people starting healthcare businesses. She also leads She-Unity Support, a registered charity (1189207) that works with Black and minority ethnic women in Essex; the Charity Commission register lists her as a trustee from 15 March 2019. She published a first book, Unbroken: A Journey of Courage, Love, and Transformation, in 2024, and marked the release of a second, The Power of Team Strength: Building the Foundation of Business Success, with a book signing in December 2025.
