About William

William Walter is the founder and Managing Director of Bridgehead Communications, where he leads campaigns across healthcare, social care, education and corporate affairs.

He began his career in Parliament as an aide and speechwriter to three MPs, including the then Shadow Minister for Universities and Skills, Rt Hon David Willetts, and the Shadow Pensions Minister, Nigel Waterson. He has since advised the governments of Georgia and Lithuania, family offices and FTSE 100 companies including HSBC and Reckitt Benckiser on their corporate communications.

In 2014 he co-authored a study comparing the earnings and employment outcomes of graduates with those of apprentices, findings that were widely reported in the national media. A former adviser to the Shadow Minister for Older People and a regular columnist for Caring Times, he writes on the politics and economics shaping the sectors Bridgehead works in.

One conversation tells you
if we're the right fit.

Thirty minutes with a partner. We'll tell you whether we can help, what the work would look like, and what it's likely to cost, before either of us commits to anything.
