How we scored

Each manifesto was read in full by the Scorecard team’s model, which assigned a 0–100 on each dimension against a published rubric. Every rationale was then checked line by line against the manifesto’s own words: a draft containing any claim the manifesto did not support was rejected and rewritten before publication.

What we did not do

We did not grade personalities, voting records or likeability. The rating speaks only to what the manifesto itself said. A deputy who has governed well from a weak manifesto still rates poorly here, and vice versa.

Right of reply

Any member can ask for their rating to be reviewed. See the corrections page for the process, and the methodology for the per-dimension rubric and bracket labels.
